JOHN SHERWIN BIO
John is our saxophone player                                                                      and he is new to the Memphis area. John is from the St Louis/St                                                                          Charles, Missouri area where he ran the Mid Rivers Music store for 27                                                             years. John was owner and manager
where he worked in all the areas                                                                of a full service music store including repair of the instruments. John                                                                graduated from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Illinois                                                                with a music degree and has been
playing professionally since then.                                                    John has played in various bands in the St Louis area mainly in blues and                                                     rock. Centered in his heart is the blues and       R n’B styles of music he associates                                              most with. His primary horn is the Tenor saxophone and he gets  the most                                                 enjoyment from playing rock and blues. He is excited to be playing  with the                                                         Billy Joel part of the show and will show you his abilities with the first note                                                          out of his horn. Piano man is glad to have him on board with his  roaring                                                                  power and growling tone.
